Obesity: Eating until full - or too quickly - puts on the weight

by What Doctors Don't Tell You - 11/14/2008
The old saying about leaving the dinner table still feeling a little hungry could be the key to losing weight - and not putting it on in the first place.

People who eat until they fill full are twice as likely to be overweight as those who don’t completely satisfy their hunger.

And you’re even more likely to put on the weight if you eat quickly. Fast eaters are more than twice as likely to become obese as those who take their time over their food.

These findings, from Japanese researchers, are based on the eating habits of 3,287 people.
