WELLNESS & HEALTHY LIVING |
Continuing our Wellness Journey - Feeling
This week our journey focuses on Feeling, the 6th of 12 keys to wellness in the Wellness Inventory. We experience feelings and emotions from well before the event of our birth. They can be intense, or frightening, or wonderful. They can also be the most misunderstood, and consequently mistreated, gifts we have as human beings. We judge them, repress them, discount them, drug them, worship them, and run from them. Yet, what a bore to be without them! Life fully lived is life filled with feeling! View more

Recent studies are pointing to chronic inflammation as being a major risk factor for heart disease. Unfortunately, because inflammation can be painless it frequently goes undetected. Dr. Fuchs notes that diet is better than drugs, but some foods reduce inflammation while others promote it.
